Life Transitions

Do you feel completely stuck and like you need guidance getting back on track? There’s no denying that life often presents us with our fair share of challenges, usually in the form of sudden change. These life transitions, even the positive ones, can throw us into a tailspin and leave us feeling stressed, confused and vulnerable. But with the right tools and mindset, you have the power to not only overcome any adversity but also transform into a more authentic and confident version of yourself.

Individual Therapy

Are you having a difficult time handling the struggles in your life? Are you hesitant to talk to others about your problems? Could you use an expert opinion on what you’re going through, or a non-judgmental ear just to listen? Do you think you could benefit the most from individualized attention?

If you answered “yes” to any of these questions, then individual therapy could be the solution you’ve been seeking. Individual therapy differs from group or alternative therapy methods in the way that you are the sole focus of a single therapist who helps you develop and achieve your goals for therapy.

Telehealth

Do you need support, but can’t make it to an in-person appointment?  If so, I can help you through virtual therapy, or telehealth. Telehealth allows me to provide counseling and therapy to my clients via live video conferencing. This can be done anywhere you have a computer or smartphone.

I Use Three Modalities For Therapy

EMDR Therapy

Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing (EMDR) therapy is an integrative psychotherapy approach that has been extensively researched and proven effective for the treatment of trauma. EMDR is a set of standardized protocols that incorporates elements from different treatment approaches.

 

Clinical Hypnosis

Clinical Hypnosis is the process of (a) deliberately entering a trance state and then (b) utilizing that state to encourage helpful cognitive, emotional, or physical healing responses. A trance is a natural biological state of inner absorption, concentration and focused attention. (www.va.gov/WHOLEHEALTH. 07.06.2021)

 

Solution-Focused

Solution-focused counseling is a collaborative approach that concentrates on finding solutions in the present time. Through focusing on the present, exploring current resources, and vivifying one’s hopes for the future, resolution of one’s problems are within reach.
